The fact for me is that a 500 is supposed to a no frills cheap method of transport. Simplicity/ low running costs make up a big part of that.
The diesel variant should be the best option but the re-gen issues kick that option out. I don't believe you do get a DPF/ECU delete now due to the new MOT standards.
