Technical Why does my Sei seem quicker in the morning?

do you really think your car is that slow, i know youve got seventeens etc but surely its still got plenty of go in it, your really starting to put me off a mk2 punto.

My car feels a lot slower when cold.

When it's cold the oil's thinner etc., this causes more noise and sounds like you're doing higher revs. I think this makes it feel like it's faster.

I hate it when it's cold, I have to go gentle until it's warm :-(

Could the auto choke being on also help i.e. more fuel and cold air.

Sorry Liam, No auto choke on a fuel injected car, unless its a Renault 25. Fuel enrichment when cold is a function of the ECU.

I do exaggerate a bit, around town its fine but as soon as you need torque on dual carriageways and motorways forget it- partly my fault due to big wheels.
