Whos your Internet Provider?

Whatever you do don't go with Bulldog Broadband. Same goes for Pipex if they have the same customer service.

I received my bill today via email. This prompted me to contact you again regarding having my disconnection (May 2006) confirmed.

I’m still waiting for a phone call to confirm this. You said you would be ringing me back within 15 minutes. That was back in October.

I have had the chance to speak with nearly everyone in your customer services department. They seem very nice people, given a lot of responsibility yet very little power.

The people with the power seem to be your disconnections department – I have not had the chance to speak with anyone there yet. That is not through a lack of trying.

I have phoned several times and waited on the line until my phone battery went flat. That’s about 2 hours.

I have phoned through and after waiting tried to use your dial back service – and got cut off.

I have phoned through, been put through to your dial back service and received no call back

I have phoned through, been put through to your dial back service and received a call back with nobody on the other end for over half an hour. You then cut me off.

I love these games we play, where I chase you for confirmation of my disconnection, and you put me on hold. It keeps me entertained for hours.

Anyway, if you could get someone to ring me from the disconnections department that would be grand. I’ll even send you a goodbye card and a box of Roses.

I don’t apologise for the totally informal content of this email as I’ve actually been driven mad by Bulldog. As nutty as a fruitcake.

In fact since I already live in Hartlepool I’m going to go and buy some exploding trousers. I’ve put that last bit in for all you Blackadder fans.

You have all my contact details on file already.

Regards,

No I hadn't been drinking. Just thinking about Bulldog Broadband actually damages my mental health.

I wish I could write that sarcastically. Good one, Hellcat! :D

Serin, I guess that the speed of Ares and Limewire must be and individual thing. I find Limewire is sometimes slower than Ares, though.

Tiscali Broadband
8Mb
Unlimited Downloads
Free UK Phone calls - Anytime
£14.99 a Month - Only cos I premote them in my shop! :slayer:

Buisness Deal is the same spec £17.99 a Month.

:)

Not really, I download a lot due to my buisness and often download drivers etc I need at home for the next day at work I use around 60Gb a month at home  and about 45Gb at the shop. I never had my hand slapped.

Also i'm online constantly looking for old computer parts so the webpages will add a fair wack to the downloading I do as well.

Only 60Gb, a lightweight user then compared to some on here ;) I hit over 150Gb most months, lol.

Well, how come the amount of users I get on the other site complain about Tiscali - they 'cap' download speeds, they block .torrent files but hey, each to their own :)

I don't download films, music ect though so it would be less than yours. But I don't see how a couple hundred drivers and security updates can equal 60Gb though.

i've left talktalk to go with toucan, they bribed me to leave talktalk (£35) then i realised i'm only going to get free weekend calls when talktalk gave free anytime calls. oh well

I'm with Aol.

Have had no probs and they offer the fastest speed where I live. And being all most next to the exchange, we get 8.5meg broadband.
