Mine (1.9 JTD) just passed 170,000 miles this morning.
The beast has had (in roughly chronological order);
1 new pair of wishbone arms c96k)
1 replacement set of discs front and back (96k)
1 new clutch and release bearing (120k)
1 new pair of rear suspension bushes (125k)
1 clocks/console needed a repair (125k)
1 replacement set (4) glow-plugs (130k)
1 new MAP sensor (130k)
1 new MAF (130k)
1 new radiatore (135k)
1 new pair of handbrake cables (140k)
1 refurbed pair of rear brake calipers (140k)
1 horn (145k)
2 new exhaust silencers (c.90k and 145k)
1 new pair of inner CV joint spiders (160k) although n/s outer CV also needs doing.
1 new pair of Track Rod Ends (165k)
I'm not counting air filters, oil filters, cam-belts, water-pumps, etc.. since these are service items. 12,000 for a service and 72,000 for a cam-belt isn't exactly burning up the world's natural resources.
Brake pads seem to last forever (managed 50,000 miles on the last set of fronts) and tyres are about 45,000 fronts and even longer rear. I'd say rear tyre wear is zero..
The biggest PITA problems was a a non-functional high-beam... which I managed to live with until the next MOT. After eliminating wiring and switches, it turned out to be a problem with the Body Control Module.
I eventually found a new (second-hand) BCM and got someone who can do electronics to swap the chips from my car onto it (the chips contain the immobilisor codes). No problems since touch-wood.
