Who has fitted Coilovers? I still havent got mine fitted right

have you tried inverting the gold dome piece so its sits inside the spring?ten put together with the rest off the OE bits?

yep got a thread on there lol, i thought as its called sports there would be loads on there but got less help than here

lol, i love the reasoning behind that! Sahme about that, have yo treid what was suggested and put the gold bit inside the spring, that'll give more top space and thread?

(puntsports isnt nearly as good as ff IDST)

as far as the pics illustrate the rubber bit on the right with the bearing pressed in needs to go on before the nut with the lip
the lip needs to go sunny side down so the lip is underneath as you do it up
then place in car and do up top nut ontop of the flexy cup

pretty straightforward tbh

if i dont have nut under the bearing, what makes the shock go down?

actually that is right by the looks of it, but thats how i had it when i drove to ace, but next day piston rod of shock had come up throught the rubber and was hitting the bottom of the bonnet, now looking at it again i cant see how it did that as hole in bearing is too small for it to do that i will just have to put them back on how they was an see if it happens again

why are all the bearings and pads sold as 1 bit £50 each and why they all diffrent? would i be better off getting hgt ones?
