I have just had the cylinder head on my fiat brava replaced (last week )but there is white smoke coming from the exhaust particularly when I am reversing. Is this still a cylinder head problem ?

What version do you have? Could it be more noticable in reverse as you are looking backwards?

It's also very cold at the moment so it's hard to tell if it isn't just the warm exhaust gas hitting the air and condensing it to steam.

Fiat Brava 1.3 16 valve
It`s not James Bond smokescreen but when the car is stationary and I press the accelerator it is worse than when I am actually driving

It'll be a 1.2 16v. With the recent cold/foggy weather you'd expect that. How is the car otherwise? Have you checked the coolant level, etc?

does the smoke smell like oil? does your car spend oil?
sometimes you have to drive it for a while after changing the cylinder head then the smoke can go away.
