yer i thought as much will order stilo clutch and flywheel when i have some money as i know quite a few people are running them on the turbo's :slayer:
 
took a trip up to banbury for the weekend and it didnt go too well, just driving sensibly no thrashing the tits off the car and the headgasket has gone meh got new gasket at work will get head skimmed and back together this week hopefully. :(

speaks for itself really putting a diff head on though for sure.
 
no it hasnt been fully setup, but is running 3bar pump fpr etc, thinking once its re-built which should be wednesday (gotta wait for manifold gaskets) gonna wait and leave it till the matey at 1320auto's rollers are working again. gotta get flange flatted on turbo manifold again aswell tho meh
 
Has it been fully set up gaz?

The tub cinqs only seem to have probs when they havent been on an RR and had the fueling setup etc.

My belief is they'll go any time, providing they're running a piggy back fuelling system (although they'll go sooner if they're not RRed). But this is a plain old head gasket problem: if you look you'll see that the fire rings on each and every cylinder are about to leak into the adjacent one.

Which make of head gasket was it?

Decided to take turbo manifold apart as it is doing the standard problem from vanaaken and it did this to me the bugger..

needed new studs anyway as theyre warped but what a beehatch

on road by weekend hopefully and setup week after if i can get booked in and time off.

Bu standard problem do you mean that the studs bend and then the manifold blows?

If so the best action is to get manifold flange machined flat again and the back of the turbo has to be machined flat as well so when the bolts are tightened they do not bend the studs in the manifold making it blow after a period of time.
 
right even though i have the gti plan was to sell the cinq but i cant let it go so now its going to be my weekend car after weeks and weeks of deliberation, with the main intent for being showed and track days. moneys a bit tight at mo so will be doing things as of when i have spare cash. Plans While its off the road;
Fiat Stilo Clutch and flywheel as mine cant handle it..
cut my nice and quiet decat backbox off and put a jap can on it init (maybe)!
send turbo manifold off to be machined, remated, flanges on back flattened so the studs dont warp aswell.
sabelt or cobra harnesses
Removable cat section put into the decat aswell not too happy about that!
in car boost control
oil pressure gauge and airflow/lambda gauge
omp steering wheel + gearknob
rr session

future plans: bigger turbo, bigger intercooler, and some kind of insane weight reduction

Cars probably gonna be stickered up a bit as my work are going to advertise on it may get a massive ff sticker made aswell for rear windows
