No cage, no harnesses is my rule in life, and I'm still here, so far.

Cheers

Yeah as arc said you need 3 bar on 2nd injector, but I believe that you have a FSE rising rate regulator, it should have some instructions with it. I used a SARD rising rate reg which ran 2.5bar on idle then 3bar on boost as it has a vacuum connection that raises pressure when boost is felt.

yay all done, thought it would be hard, its actually pretty **** easy, reg set to 2.5 and adjusts to 3 on boost. only got pic of changing pumps tho :p

old out new in

pretty much ready for rr now, gonna give the dude at 1320autos a ring tomorow to see when he can fit me in. G

If you are phoning 1320 Autos its Chris Rapps you need to speak to he set up mine and Emma's turbo's and knows the MF2's well. It may be worth while trying to get yours Ghost's and Alex22's cars on same day so you can all compare on same day with same conditions, if its a weekend I can even pop along to see what's happening.

PS did you adjust the standard injector's pressure, I recommend setting it to run 1.2bar the maximum factory setting as from factory they are anything from 0.8-1.2 bar.

And yes pumps are dead easy to swap over, the RS2000 pump being direct drop in and being a much beefier pump being rated upto 5bar.

Aaron.

Yes it will Jay, if its not off my driveway by the end of this weekend then Im pushing it to the RR place :p lol

Gaz Im still shocked that we actually managed to refrain from smoking around the car while doing the fuel pump and fpr

Was good to finally go for a spin in your Cinq dude :D it was my first time since the turbo went in.

She's running so much smoother now as well (y)

nah i have not touched the std injector on the car yet aaron, how easy is this to do? and wheres best place to take a feed for the gauge, i know you adjust the little nut next to the injector with bluey spunk all around it but clockwise or anti?

figured out why she wasnt running properly a nice set of charcoaled plugs and one dud.. eon ones in now tho and its all dandy and running awesomely :D

time has come for me to... get a bigger clutch, as mine cant hack it, thinking stilo one as i know the ebc clutch cant handle it either so stilo it has to be. on another note does anyone know what the omp clutch kits like its apparently rated for group n?

No idea, but it's largely irrelevant -- there's no way a group N car puts out the torque of a turbo Cinq.

Its not just the clutch you will also need the flywheel as well as its a 200mm one compared to 180m one on standard fitment.

You are right anything above about a true 100bhp 100ftlbs standard and even supposed uprated clutches do not seem able to cope, whereas the Stilo clutch is built not only for a near 100bhp 100ftlbs engine, but in a car that is near 1200kgs so has lots of weight to lug about and in so doing transfer torque to move that weight.
