i love the rocker cover it stays italian flag :eek: pipes are all stainless here it is up and running slight boost de-limiter problem though.. anyone got any pictures of wiring theres in, kinda desperate for it think ive wired it in wrong or the defenders a dud.. bit pissed off aswell went to tighten oil cooler up and the uninion just snapped right off the cooler.. mocal will be getting a phone call tomorow saying how unsatisfied i am with the build quality of their coolers and should be able to get a replacement hopefully. heres the pics!

I hope you have uprated the fuel pump on that car and considered fitting a 2nd fuel pressure regulator to give the 2nd injector the correct 3bar it needs, or it will not last long :confused:

You think you have fuel cut problem, its more likely you have under fuelling problem if its hesitating and a big rough going on boost.
 
Yep after my last experience i've been saying that to Gaz too :p think he has a fpr on way but needs to sort a pump :)

Re the FCD though i think matt who had the engine before couldnt get it running right either so it could be dead anyway... shall see i suppose :p
 
i know aaron ive got a punto gt fuel pump on its way and a fpr too. checked that power is going to fcd and it is.. but cant actually check that the fcd is recieving power. mf2 is lighting up red as soon as it sees boost though.. took mf2 apart and theres 3 wires missing that come off of the vacuum pipe that goes into mf2 will post up a picture when i get in.
 
No MF2 has a green and red light on boost on right hand side of unit, and a series of red lights on left hand side for the rev position.

Ah that's inside MF2, then I have no idea, as all 3 MF2 that i have used have all had there wires through the serial port thingy.

they only MF2 I have sen with extra wires going into it is Jamies, both my car and Emma's car have Bosch 3 bar map sensors behind the fire wall with vacuum hose from T piece from the cars original map sensor.

just to clarify aaron the feed for the rev counter is the blue and red striped wire at the back of the instrument binacle isnt it? going to try adjusting the fcd tomorow as ive been instructed to do.
 
right on a plus note oil cooler is on and no leaks after getting it ally welded need to trim pipes a bit more tho(dam you si). but now have a permanent injection light and mf2 has totally stopped working.. im thinking its new fcd and mf2 time so gonna have to skank lifts while get this sorted. :(
