Having Defended My 1.2 I Must Now Admit Im Looking To Buy A Jtd. I Dont Think The Old Rule Of Only Buying A Diesel If You Do Lots Of Miles Applies Because At The Moment Discounts On New Ones Is As Good As Petrol Versions.check Out Broadspeed For New Cars, Woodleigh Fiat For Used.

Woodleigh sound good,

Looking at their 0% offer, are they loading the cost of the finance in the car costs?

Anyone have any experience with them

Buy another make of car instead. Fiat are the pits. Following on from a history of problems with mine which the garage & Fiat UK have only added to I am going to take legal action agaist them. If I could clear the finance on mine it would be gone!

My Punto has been perfectly reliable. even after abusing it.

My Dads Laguna is falling to bits mind.

My Local Fiat Dealer allways get things right first time.

KingChris. What dealer do you use? Fiat quoted right first time to me but I think they should have spelt it ****e! After 1 year they still have not fixed my clutch or door seal. Today, they actually managed to damage the door (bend & chip the upright). All this and poor service from Fiat UK. They don't have a clue!

No one is disputing you had a bad car, but there are also a lot of good FIATs out there - I got two, and even with problems I am getting, still think I made the best choice.

Me and Jules have owned a lot of marques - Renault, Ford, Suzuki, Vauxhall, Mini, Citroen - my dad has owns Mercs - dealers can be good, dealers can be bad, irrespective of make.

Do you need a MW? What about increased fuel consumption, presumably?!

There are a few guys who own a MW on here, can't recall names off top of my head. Will go and check a few sigs ;)

This Xbox stilo thing is terrible what are thinking of!! Got some advertising for it through the post today after reading about it on here literaly yesterday! Its got a disc i assume with spec's etc for it or something along those lines; i'll have a look at it later as i just chucked it aside this morning!

Nope, not yet! It's been gone about a week now; going to ring the garage and ask em what stage they are at and if everything is going ok, etc, etc! I managed to get them to write me up an letter basically saying if they dont return my car in the condition that it left me i will get a full cash refund! Ive found a nice abarth i will get if my stilo isnt returned, which i hope it is though! Been taking my anger out on the courtesy car the have gave me! Hehehe! Ill post in the thread once i know whats happening more!
Cheers for asking though! :)

Good to see some folk defending the 1.2. Yeah its gutless when your doing 70mph in top gear and you want to overtake..... hmm but yet you could change down to 5th gear (something the owners of the other engine'd models can't do)! 6th gear gives great economy (and makes the journey very quiet) but unless your doing over 70 or in favourable roads then there is no point in trying to overtake in 6th.

Diesels are a good bet, but ignore anyone that says the difference in price between the Diesel and petrol doesn't mater if you don't do big miles. AA research say your looking at 58k miles before you recover the difference. Especially worth noting at the moment there is 7p a litre difference between Petrol and Diesel, so if you don't do big miles its hardly worth it.

A new car? Well, if to spec, and not already built, usually 11 to 13 weeks maximum! There was a thread on here recently about that. Will go and dig it out in a bit.
