Which Sub package?

So in short, a guy who will be using a Sub to mainly play hiphop, I should be looking at 1 10" sub at about 250RMS.

If you're going hiphop, i would recommend a ported sub box too 10 or 12" would be suited for you.

A lot of amps can run tri-mode on their own.

But if they dont then some passive crossovers will be needed.

Rock is actually suited more to a 15" cone as rock doesnt need to be as punchy as say hiphop. Usually consists of the actual bass playing with the majority of the drums coming from the low mids.

What i was advised to get and im into my rock / metal music cant stand rap / pop like the occasional dance song but recently havnt been able to get hendrix outta my cd player.

Love it though when the chavs start taking the **** when im at a light just goes to show how much musical knowledge they have half the music today wouldnt sound anywhere near as good without hendrix!

lol@wozza Im exactly the same, I was playing some deep purple the other day, and they didn't get it at all,

But then again they don't realise that trying to race a 1.2 punto with just me in with a 1.1 nova with 5 people in just isn't going to work,even with their K&N.

I have been listening to Rammstein this week and my 12" performs great

the legacy amps are fairly good and the pioneer subs are pretty damn decent.

But that 10" deal you picked out is rather good should sound pretty good as well.

yeah i was thinking the same thing, becuase that deals suuply's everything inc. the wires and i know the exact specs of it. So i think im going to go for that, but like i said, if you find a better 10" deal, can you please post or PM, it would be much appreciated,
