Its a 1.2 what is the point it wont increase power and a 1.2 engine doesnt draw enough air to make a real meaty induction roar!

i wasnt intrested in making the cars bhp more than the current 80 or 90 bhp, i just wanted it to sound more beffy than it does at the moment. some one told me the Viper Induction Kits are good? but im still unsure at the moment . Might just get a K an N one for time being.

be warned that some induction kits just whine or whistle. and dont give that 'meaty' sound you require. As a by-the-by, why do you want to make your car louder?

Viper kits are very good, but you won't get much sound from them as they are enclosed (Same as the BMC)...
The Pipercross vector cone sounds pretty good on a 1.4, so i wouldn't expect it to be much different on a 1.2...

I have a K+N Panel filter in mine, utilising the standard intake system. by far the best option bar getting a full enclosed system.

hia yeh iv got a 1.2 as well and mine grunts as well but only on high revs, just wanted to make it sound beefier , i was speakin to my mate and he said standard is the best, fiat anit spent all that money in designing the car so another company can come out with sumthin that cost about 100 quid which will make it more better.

If you want to be ripped off with cheap plastic crap then get a BMC CDA. The quality is AWFUL.

Naz mate i have the pipercross vortex. its really good for the money bud they also sound much louder than the K&N!!!! Dont buy a K&N!!!
If u have the money tho say £200-250 then the BMC is the one u want bud

For once Tom is wrong, the BMC CDA is absolutely superb, very expensive though. I would never have beleived how much a difference something like this can make.

I was commenting on its build quality, the one Si had was just pushed together and had a truly nasty blow moulded plastic adapter to make it 70mm jammed on the back. You gave it a wiggle and it would fall off. They also supplied it with a length of that concertina aluminium tubing to connect it all up.
Not worth the asking price for that quality.
At least the viper has a spun ally backplate.

The Raid HP induction kit is pretty sweet. Mercedes AMG Racing teams use them. Excellent filtering and a nice induction sound. Great value for £££ too. Highly recommended. Had a K&N and much prefer the Raid HP kit.
