hi all,im a bit stuck i have a 1.6 16v marea and need some injectors,i can get 4 brand new(yellow banded 2 hole spray)injectors for 150 pound or 4 used (green banded two hole spray ones)for 110 pounds,the ones in my car are green banded 2 hole spray but the guy says the part no for the yellow ones is the same as fiat are quoting for new ones(71718998)does anyone know if the colours make a differance as ive heard so many stories.thank you...:bang:

1.6 injector faults are quite common, years ago with Fiats out of warranty i used to advise customers to get better injectors from a injection specialist such as www.southerncarbs.co.uk and we would fit them instead of Fiat supplied ones

I dont remember any difference in the colours, it might be a supersession of the injectors from Fiat.
