Which broadband?

Anybody know a decent comparison?

It's not for me but my gf moving into her new house in sept.

Looking for:

• Probably 1Mbit minimum
• 1 month contract (well, she will only be using the connection for 9/10 months so 12 month contract no good)
• Pref. no set up charges due to the above, or well, as minimum as possible - free modem would be great but unlikely I guess, not a problem as they are ten a penny on ebay.
• Not cable - well, I need to check but I think the house is on a BT line.
• Cheapest, doesn't have to be the best, i.e. nothing silly like fixed IP is needed.

I am looking at plus net now, looks good;

They seem to pay for activation (??), £21.99/month + 11.75 one off cost to have it a monthly contract instead of free.

Surely this can't be beaten?

I pay for the £21.99 package, and can't fault it

They do a cheaper package as well, £14.99 I think, but you get dynamic IP with that, and a higher contention ratio - 50:1 and not 30:1

I spoke to stu at length about it on MSN - I wasn't ignoring his suggestions. This plus net is the best and cheapest.
