Hi there, have just put engine back together and am stumped on a couple of things. One left over bracket (might not even be to do with engine???) And also small bolt hole behind fuel pump. There's nothing behind it to bolt up so not sure what's the go with it. Any assistance greatly appreciated!!

The bracket goes over the bottom end of the the fan shroud and bolts onto the sump, utilising two of the sump bolts. It is a shield to direct air across the bottom of the sump (through the double-skinned bottomof the sump). As for the hole in the shroud---is the air-director plate inside the fan-shroud securely held in place?

That hole in the tinware has been the subject of debate here before. The most plausible offering was that it was a cool air source to help keep the fuel pump cool.

Thanks for that, appreciate your response, cheers

Thanks for that, I'm pleased I'm not going nuts missing something, will leave it as is. Cheers
