The blue LED's went in fine. My soldering wasnt the best in the world tho. Didnt get round to doing the other switches though.

I have had these in for well over a year.

Infact, I would have had these in now for about one and half years. That means I have had the car 2years. This will be the longest I have ever had a car.
I know I tried to help a couple of people on here by giving them a template. Never saw anything from that. So assumed they had given up

Mines an r-reg so i am assuming that it is a mk1.I take it the difference is the mileometer display is digital on yours where mine is dials...

The speedo that BenB did. He made a few of so you would need to cantact see if he has any left to fit you car.
The heater dials were my original design. Only Wimmy and I have them. Wimmy took my template and made it his own like he does. To be honest. I think wimmy's do look slightly better as he has silver surround and mine is green. Makes mine look darker than it is.

Unfortunately I dont have any left, and wont be making any more. They took about an hour to make each set (literally!)!! So I kinda gave up on that idea!
I basically got a vinyl cutting place (sign makers?) to cut out the design in white sticker stuff (phone one and get a quote, see if they'll do that for you) Then pulled out all the bits I wanted light to get through (That's the fiddly bit) and stuck the white dials onto blue 'lighting gel' (from ebay). You have to transfer it over using a big peice of masking-tape type stuff- I'm sure the vinyl place will explain/supply this. Then I got frosted effect film and stuck this front and back. Cut out all the edges and cutouts. Job done!
Hope that makes sense!
The main problems with this are getting the frosting on without any bubbles (especially inthe cutout bits) and the fact you can only choose one colour.
