When will the first be?

When do we think the first post relating to somebody having their handbrake frozen on will come, i'm thinking mid October, I guess the 17th.

Just how serious/comonplace is this problem? I have yet to own my hlx115 through a winter. Should I just leave it in gear at night and not use the handbrake?

It is a serious problem when your stuck with your handbrake on, gets the back wheels nice and warm though whilst you waiting for it to disengauge.
