Hi all, with the recent cold weather i've noticed when steering (Just after the engine is started), there is quite a loud whirring sound. It only happens when its frosty, it disappears shortly after when its warmed up!

Any ideas??

Thanks in advance, Bri.

have you checked your fluid recently? it normally whines when you are low on fluid.

Like stated above, check oil level and it can happen if the oil is older and its colder. The hydraulic oil needs to warm up so it gets to its working temp.
