Technical When to replace the turbo??

how many miles can you do in a punto gt before the turbo goes on average??

depends how you drive it,how well its serviced and what sort of journeys you do.you got problems?

No im just thinking about getting a punto gt and just want some good feedback that it wont die on me at 50k

turbos can go at any mileage and to be honest IMO i would be prepared to replace after 50-60k although ive had original turbos last beyond 100k its all about how they have been looked after.if you can afford a FSH then at least it shows the oils been changed etc if not haggle a good price and accept the risk,although im the worst for buying cars from the heart and not the head

i wouldn't buy a gt with no service history over 65k its about £900 from fiat for the replacment turbo. but u can always get recons
