And I have found that tiny little hole under the carpet on the right side too :slayer:

I believe if your Stilo has an alarm fitted, it may well have the indicator flash already activated. But the option's still in the security settings to have the indicator flash activated when you hit the central locking button(s) on your fob.

For some enlightened reason, Fiat UK didn't think owners with non-alarmed Stilo's in the UK would be that bothered about not having the indicator flash. Because hey, we don't want to have a visual confirmation other than a tiny red (sometimes working correctly) LED flashing next to the driver's door pin

As said, it can be activated by examiner at the Fiat dealer or by a specialist who knows how. Just got to pay the labour for them doing it, which if memory serves is a half hour or something so probably around the £30 mark depending where you take it.

The card you need looks like this.

It has the electronic code to carry out the emergency start procedure if the immobliser doesn't work and the mechanical code for programming new keys.

The card with model number, serial number and 4 digit code is for the CN+

Dave.

So is it not standard then? As mine flash and the handbook says that they should :)

Yours is a phase 2, so I believe they implemented the indicator flash by then across the range, though don't quote me on that ;) Certainly when I've seen it, it's been on either later cars or those with an alarm or both.
