General Wheel not in allignment

Hey all, noticed the other day, my front passenger side wheel seems slights out of line. (goes in towards the top of the car)

My uncle measured it and said it looks to be 8mm out, but the trackings out too, quite badly, enough to wear the tyre really badly near the tyre wall, getting it sorted this week but my question is..

can the wheel go like this due to tracking or could it be a bent wishbone or something collapsed?

I ask because i don't have the money to do the tracking to find i need to spend more, i just wont have the money, so if it's to cost loads i'll probably get rid as money is tight atm.

I've heard tracking can be done with a broom handle (from an old mechanic) is it's probably worth you looking into doing it yourself at least in terms of difficulty vs cost!
