General wheel boss (please help)

hi, i know this has probably been covered loads but, im making myself feel like a right tit not knowing how to fit a boss :bang:. Ive got a '97 Cinq sporting , a momo snap-off wheel and what i assume to be the rigth boss kit. but i just cant seem to combine the three. at the moment ive got the original wheel off along horn connector (slidy circle thing) and cant seem to get one from the boss to replace it. O also there is nothing anywhere on the boss kit that resembles the notch used for self cancelling indicators (although i can live without them).
Any form of help would be greatly appreciated. Cheerz folks.

As, surely, does the clumn shroud and the bit that self cancels the indicators?

There should be a roll pin in the boss kit that locates into the hole on the column switch.

all the wheel and boss replaces is the original wheel. everything else stays
