Styling wheel arches

[?][?]hi i have a mk1 punto and want to put 17s on it and i need to alter the arches!!how do i do this??(the car is standard)gunna lower it soon though[?]

have you lowered it???? if so, you'll need to remove the bolt thet holds the arch lining to the rear bumper on both sides. and, if you look behind the wheels after having them on a couple of days and can see any "worn" marks on the arch lining, simply get a pair of secators or really sharp scissors, and cut the worn bit away. job done. no rubbing.

just noticed you said its not lowered.

you may still have to remove the bolt^^^
