Technical whats your mpg?

i got 60 sumfin mpg at cc agm econ run, however we did roll half way round the peak district. my petrol tank always seems to have such a build up of pressure. always makes a loud air rushing sound when i open the cap, dunno if theres maybe a problem with my tank xxx

could have a blocked breather on the tank.it needs one to allow air in to replace the petrol being used

Between 25-40 mpg in the turbo depending on warp factor engaged.

Alaina, your speedo will under-read quite a bit. It's designed for 145/70r13 tyres and you're running 195/45r15 (if I remember right) so add about 5% on to the mileage it shows between fill-ups.

You'll have to use more throttle to make those big boots turn, so could be the source of the problem - especially if you saw 60mpg with easy driving at the AGM.

very true thanks pete, big tyres are proving to be nothing but bother lol,

ill check the air filter n breather pipes as well

Lol my tanks got a big dirty hole in it so no point even working out the MPG as i lose most of it on the road

last tank went 240ish i think, thats hammering around wiltshire at all times - out on motorway get about 300 iirc
