Would be useful to know what engine and year your vehicle is to confirm this. Correction: It is a solenoid of some sorts. Have found a supplier selling something similar. (cuts fuel into the carb progression holes when car is decelerating with no throttle pedal depression). However knowing the exact car model, year and engine cc would help
