The 155HGT has a revised interior, akin to the HLX's etc, but a bit less garish. They are both 5 pot 20v engines and have aircon.
If you're looking for a HGT, go for the 1999 revised 155 as the engine (to me at least), feels stronger than the MK1 and as noted above, theinterior is much more subtle.
The facia's were also revised too, with digital trip etc.
Powerful engine at 154bhp, but I was a little disappointed with it; which is not to say it's dull. Keep it above 4000rpm where safety permits and you'll have fun.
I have previosly owned a 16v Tipo, which I thought was actually a better engine.
If you want some tips for buying a used model, let me know as I checked out seven before buying mine. Each had common faults - beleive it or not, 5/7 has knackered rear wipers.
