As above between a tom tom and a sat nav? asked a mate and said no differance just diff name like ya get in clothes...cheers and soz its a silly question but im just curious lol

A 'Tom Tom' is a brand of Satalite Navigation.

Sat-Nav is just short for Satellite Navigation.
TomTom is the leading brand of Satellite Navigation so you find some people refer to all Sat Nav as Tomtom...
its kinda similar with clothes... i mean chavs tend to call all tracksuits thier "Nike's"

How many people 'hoover' their carpets?
How many people own a 'hoover'?
I own a miele (excellent at first but after 4 years it's not that good) as well as a Dyson - always crap from day 1. OH swore by it 'till I made her carry it up the stairs
.And a Henry (had it for years, never let me down).
But I still hoover the carpets.
