Whats the best thing to do when the ECU is resetting?

Reset my ecu, haven't really noticed any improvement. Thinks its probably to do with the fact that i just do relatively small journeys and city driving. Should i reset it again and give it a good run?, or am i just hoping for too much of an improvement on the 1.4's legendary performance!

also, it takes say a couple of hundred miles for the ecu to find its settings...

so fuel economy is likely to be a bit crap for this stage, after this look to see if there is an improvement

it could be that you get no improvement. a reset is not a guaranteed performance boost.

It will take a while to sort itself out if you are only doing short trips.
