A GSR is a direct engine modification
Can you eat it?
I remember growing cress (for an Easter Egg competition as hair) for my egg at Primary School.
It was a punky Egg.
A GSR is a direct engine modification
Who are you insured with?
:slayer::slayer::slayer::slayer:
I'm jealous - i miss my bike so much
they are only interested in direct internal engine modifications apparently and bodykits, smoothing etc. other than that there are no price increases
I'd be more worried about the GSR kit voiding any warranty!
don't believe your granddad doctors have no pills for it
fully insured as the main driver with all mods declared for £1500
and unless they are direct engine modifications or body modifications there is no price increase.
the price increase is only due to now being the main driver and having a full license and there is no price change for the gsr

.
get it in writing that you have told them about the kit. as noggin on end of phone is often wrong
they are sending the cover note today and according to my ma they have said they will send a complete list of any modifications i would have to declare.
Im impressed! When I was with Norwich Union they wouldnt touch modded cars..... When I had my GSR on the Stilo I paid an extra £100 for the mod.

Nah.
IIRC The contract will read along the lines of (and i'll clarify this in case its not clear) 'The onus is on the POLICYHOLDER (e.g.: YOU) to DECLARE ANY ALTERATIONS or MODIFICATIONS made to the insured vehicle outside of otherwise STANDARD SPECIFICATION'
I've been insuring the Cinq as modified for the last few years now, and I've never heard of an insurer publishing a list of declarable mods. The onus is on you and you alone to inform them. Some things they will be interested in (e.g.: Massive Alloys, ICE that could power the local grid, engine mods etc.) and other things they wont be interested in (e.g. Special Controls, seats, harnesses etc.)
If you arent going to declare it you may as well cancel the policy - your uninsured anyway
PD fixing my cinq, in less than 5 seconds - how much of a dunce did i feel???
he is a legend tho :worship: :worship:
what was wrong with it?
I have to ask - did he hit it with a hammer? Apparently quite good for fixing dodgy Italian electrics
