It may be past the "differences of opinion" stage it was at that when I sold it as the last MOT I had (2021) mentioned general underside corrosion, this disappeared last few MOTs but is apparently now at a point where turning a blind eye is a bit much for their MOT tester.

It wasn't a difference of opinion so much as a Tester in the pocket of the salesman.

If it didn't re-appear immediately the following year I'd go with difference of opinion.

Although perhaps it got brushed down and coated and the coating has since exited.

Put it this way, it looked worse than your photo earlier.
