What's made you grumpy today?

I think they've done it so it's harder to trade cars privately, meaning more people will go through dealers, for the simplicity

The result of lots of lobbying from the motor trade probably.

Was unaware they back date it to date of sale, seems too logical for a government department. Shall find out, obviously it being a government department we only recieved a letter telling us they'd recieved our letter, no refund..that's still being processed. The acknowledgement is dated the 3rd, shall see if they back date to the 20th whenever they pull their fingers out of their bottoms.

Well the refund arrived for the correct number of months, so I was a bit hasty. Possibly the DVLA could save a little money and some confusion by not sending letters telling you they had received your letter and that you would be recieving a letter shortly...

Have you heard of anyone charging £15 to remove a wheel from a car?!
I had an alloy straightened at alloyweldcraft and they charged £30 extra (£15 to remove and £15 to refit it) just because the wheel was on the car.
And before you say that's to remove the tyre and refit it, no, there was an extra charge of £15 for that.
Yes, the price list was on the wall but I had not noticed, they told me £90 + VAT on the phone (they assumed the wheel would be off the car)
£150 to straighten a wheel (£75 for the 1st dent, £15 to remove/refit the tyre, £30 to remove/refit the wheel from the car + VAT), I told them they are taking the ****!
If I didn't need the car on Monday I wouldn't touch them with a bar pole, should have just fitted the spare!
On the plus side they didn't charge for inflating the tyre!
fkers.

Incorrect cable usage!
8mm for a shower wrong. Too much current draw for cable size.

same crap hospital made me grumpy, eldest granson goes to the walk-in centre on Thursday night with ear ache and sore throat, they say hmm best send him to the children's assessment unit at hospital as they are not sure what is wrong, specialist doctors there say nothingh to worry about its not an infection just a virus take him home and give him nurofen, he's still been crying with ear ache and sore throat so he gets taken back to the walk-in centre today an older nurse says he has an ear infection and tonsillitis and gives him antibiotics, poor little boy could be fixed by now if hospital had give him that on Thursday :(

Thats 72 hours, a lot can happen in that time, it may not have been an infection 72 hours ago.

it probably was though they just didn't look well enough for it.
same hospital has everyday for the last week been told an 81 year old man can not use his left hand and needs his food cut up for him, they kick out visitors at meal times so he has either had no food or had to rely on other patients to cut it up for him.
He also needs to use a hand rail to get from bed to toilet as do many other patients, but staff constantly use this rail to hang air pumps on and leave bags with the air mattress things in the way too.

Gather evidence and lobby your local MP if you believe your local hospital is failing so badly (y)

Nothing wrong with that, its supposed to be used to help at first, not to be relied upon. My dad is often on Oyxgen if taken into hospital, but then taken off of it when recovering before being released. I'm fearful of the day he may always need it!! (n)
