Stilo exhaust has gone again. Rear part of the centre pipe, only the 3rd one in 4 years about to be fitted. 2nd was under warranty but isn't this time.

Going to get the exhaust and fit myself I think though.

£260 fitted with 2yr warranty at local place
£189 fitted with 3yr warranty at Kwik Fit
<£100 for all the parts off the net and fit myself.

No brainer.

Someone in Lexus 4x4 tried to over take me on a right turn round about to the point he had to break and let me go because he was side by side! then followed me close and also proceeded to under take me on a straight on round about turn, so I boxed the little car down to 7500rpm and left him standing all the way up the hill, really hate middle aged drivers who don't know the Highway Code! my god little car is fast :D 110bhp out of a 1998 1.4 :D

New Grump today, just tried to replace the wipers on my new car :bang:
Didn't go well, Apparently it's not as simple as every other car i've worked on... The plastic is brittle on the old wipers which came with the car and actually shattered when i tried to remove the wiper blades:confused: And the worst part; the part of the blade which clicks into the wiper arm is still attached to the wiper arm:confused:
So, when in doubt check the owners handbook:
"Replacing the wiper blades:
Remove wiper blade from the arm" So simple, they don't tell you any more info! ha ha..
At least the Punto is still working well(y)

Driving home in mini, dash board lights up read, warnings flashing on the screen "STOP CAR AND SWITCH OFF ENGINE"

"CHECK TIRES LOSING PRESSURE"

"DO NOT DRIVE AT MORE THAN 50mph ON RUN FLAT TIRES"

Stopped car unable to see any problem all tires seem ok an inflated thought it must be a glitch, restarted car all the same errors still up,

Decide to crawl home just in case there is a problem as no where near a garage. Get home drive 50 yards down the road to the garage with a tire pump.

Front tires both ok first rear tire I check 28psi second rear tire at the required level (32psi)

Ffs all that fuss because it had dropped 4 psi !

Realised the tire pressures were probably last check 10k miles ago because missus never checks anything. So 4psi drop on 10k and the car throws a hissy fit

Shed was broken into! I disturbed the **** as he was doing it.

He ripped the shed roof off!! He got away with a wheel for my bike. But dropped that when he was collared by my Dad round the corner (he was in the car, heard me shouting at him as he hoofed it). Luckily, my Dad didn't actually get his hands on the ****...but I did get my wheel back!

I didn't know people worried about these things, interesting. Lidl is pronounced Leedl in German, but we pronounce it, erm, Lidl.

And Braun is Brown in German, but we pronounce it brawn. So the Germans have given in and call it Brawn too in our ads.

As for Aldi, well, I suppose either way will do, depends on how you stress words.

But the one I really can't stand is plastic pronounced with an r in it somewhere, it's a short a, period! And then they say prostrate, when they mean prostate, and that's just thick.
