The day after i sell one of my cars... THE OTHER BREAKS DOWN!!!
And FIAT cant see it for replacement parts until Wednesday :bang::bang:

Door card off - pull the window out the electric arm that raises it
And tape the window up for now
That dodgey repair

I tried lifting the window but it was jammed.
FIAT have now lifted the window and its been locked in place.
The regulator for lifting and lowering the window had snapped a cable and it got jammed and burnt out the motor.
FIAT say the part would be £150 without fitting (Checked Shop4Parts and the price matches what they said.
Luckily its on a 4year comprehensive warranty so no cost to me.
Just got to wait till Wednesday for the part to arrive at the dealership
these feckers on my tv last night, look like and sound like a bunch of 1970's football hooligians in suits

any day of the year i would recommend someone to buy a FIAT.
BUT I WOULDNT WISH FIATS CUSTOMER SERVICE ON ANYONE!
Spent all day at the dealership waiting for the window mechanism to be fixed, told at 11am, we'll get it fixed for you today.
2pm, were just awaiting delivery of the part, should arrive soon, will take an hour to fix.
5pm, the part hasnt arrived and we close in 30minutes. The part will arrive tomorrow. You can leave the car here and we'll sort it for collection tomorrow..
Great, but I live 20miles from the dealership and they dont have a courtesy car :bang:

Also, the 406 is idling fairly weird.... Much rougher than before. Clutch is juddering too although with that much power going through the front wheels I cant complain too much....

Shed was broken into! I disturbed the **** as he was doing it.
He ripped the shed roof off!! He got away with a wheel for my bike. But dropped that when he was collared by my Dad round the corner (he was in the car, heard me shouting at him as he hoofed it). Luckily, my Dad didn't actually get his hands on the ****...but I did get my wheel back!

A couple of pre-MOT jobs on my sisters MkII Punto...
Air box removed, cam' sensor removed, cam' cover removed and cleaned, head bolts torqued to spec', exhaust manifold bolts checked and torqued to spec', new cam' cover gasket, top up of oil, cam' sensor replaced, air box retrofitted properly; all in an hour.
Changing the passenger side fog light bulb? Two hours and six minutes!!!!! :bang: :bang: :bang:
