Whats made me grumpy, as always is Dave being grumpy. I'd like to see Dave being happy. According to statistics (made up) this would reduce grumpiness by at least 50% improving general happiness all round.

I put forward a motion to infuse Dave with herbal (legal) happiness to reduce grumpiness syndrome and improve general statistics by up to 50%.

i'm not 100% grumpy, i am happy that it was me and not some bugger who would have just drove off and left old lady to get run over by the the next car.

I'm actually feeling grumpy today but it's self inflicted. It's always a pain when the previous nights celebrations can still be felt the following day. In this case going out for a nice meal and then washing it down with a case of Coronas. This was to celebrate finishing a very taxing engineering course, and it was thoroughly enjoyable. :)

However...

Today at around 11:00am, still being able to taste Corona and feeling like I've been beaten round the head with a cricket bat, dragged down the road by a bus and turned inside out isn't quite as great. :(

I've never seen it like that, so I don't really know what to expect

You should YouTube it, they sounded awesome! :D ...... In there heyday right before they were out lawed they ran up to 1000hp on race day and an earth shattering 1200hp in qualifying!!! All from a 1.5! ........ Plus they didn't have many of the drivers aids they have these days...... I loved the 80,s (y)

The one with the fan to increase downforce always intrigued me. Got banned pretty quickly cos it won everything

Yeah I know the one it was a brabham powered by a flat 12 alfa engine. It's wasn't quite banned though, it was "withdrawn" by the then team principle Bernie ecceslstone before it was banned because everyone complained that when they were following it, it sucked up all the crap off the road and spat it in their faces :D ...... However I suspect the real reason they kicked up a fuss was the fact that it was like 30 seconds faster than every other car on the track :D

I sometime wish today's teams were allowed to think outside the box (the tyrell six wheeler anyone remember that! (y))

One thing I was always gutted that never took off was the PROCAR series. These were basically F1 chassis with a modified body over the top. Go onto YouTube and search for Alfa 164 procar, it is insane. As above, great thinking outside the box! :D

Such an awesome machine, the rules were somewhat more relaxed in the 70's lol. :D

I'm grumpy because my mate / co worker "drives" a piece of carp Peugeot now I've gotta get up early to go pick him up in my Bravo and take him to work.

What makes it worse is he still rips the **** outta my car because FIATs are unreliable!
