Got a nice letter from the council today,
My other house has been empty for over two years, so they want to raise my council tax payments, i did receive 50% discount, they are now putting it up to 150%!????????????????
so my new council tax will be £210 a month!
And before anyone says it, the house is Band A bracket.
So my only option is to move back in (leaving my wife and daughter at the other house) claim single occupancy tax and try finish it off asap.
£140 extra a month is just a little stretch too far.

I think motorists just expect to get f***ed by the government now.
Loved the way they bigged up how the competition commission was gonna sort it then after 5 mins looking into it they turned round and aborted it cos it was clear it was all tax and dropped it as quietly as possible.

tbh I'm tempted to buy an old shed and run it on chip fat and red diesel. If I get caught they can crush it and I'll buy a new one

For the 1st time since I moved out I'm not actively concerned about money...and have no spare time or opportunity in which to spend it...
Have been ordered to do...sorry offered the opportunity to do the second 60 hour week this month...oh and mot due soon hoping it passes with no work...
Can't wait for summer looking forward to warm evenings to go for runs and wash the car etc.

The fear of sliding on the snow
decided to be a show off and go up a snowy hill to find getting stuck
doing a 1000 point turn - and spending 10mins super slowly working my way back down the hill

On my way home yesterday on the way out of Norwich someone drove up my a**e for ages despite how I was doing the NSL, when the road opened into 2 lanes he drove alongside me and for no reason violently swerved into me, of course I swerved too so he didn't quite hit me then he just drove off
