My grump: for the next few weeks, no working on cars between college on Monday and the finger incident. FML
i was the same when i was back working at the aquatics/pond/fish sales shop.
i was fixing my cars (at the time the diesel corsa) windscreen wipers. the motor would not turn. i turned the wipers to what i thought was off but it was set to intermittent.. after fixing it i plugged the motor in it turned and my thumb got caught in the works it go trapped the motor would not stop untill it done one full rotation so yeah .. made a mess.. could see the bone.. and lots of it. :E
went to the hospital with it and they said that dew to the way it was they could not do anything with it.
took it ages to heal fully. took a while to get movement back as it damaged the tendons.
was quite funny looking back at it.. there i was with my thumb stuck and all you could see was me trying to kick the battery terminal off heh (as it was only resting on it to test it)
i found out the hard way that you should always double check to make sure that it is off/unplugged/isolated before sticking fingers in electronics.

I was wincing just reading that! Ouch!
For some reason microsoft wont let windows 7 connect to my xbox for the internet so i cant go online unless i buy a wireless adapter, which are bloody expensive. They let every other windows connect and mac's just not 7. There was a seller on ebay selling for £20 but they have stopped selling them now so its looking like £30+

Car Insurance.
Just tried to check how the price would change given the my new circumstances :bang: Insurance looks set to Double in price
This means i cannot get a new car as planned because i have to dish out so much extra on insurance now my millage will double & I'll be commuting.
Once again the short term fine for driving uninsured is less than the insurance quote Hopefully i can find somewhere that will offer a better deal. (Might try asking for assistance to cover travel costs from Uni or Work depending if i can get a Student Placement in June)

does the small print for commute say for place of education or just place of employment?
if you drive to town where uni is and then get a bus to the uni is it still commuting?

Normally the small print say's to a "permanent place of employment" or something along those lines.
Education wouldn't be included in that IMO. As long as you have occupation = student you'll be fine.

The Damn Seat Belt on Drivers side has stopped working.
A load of loose fibers have come off the belt and it's jammed.:bang:
I Can't find a replacement part online at the usual places. So I'm going to have to go to Fiat Garage Monday Morning and hopefully they will have a replacement in stock and i'll be able to get it sorted before 10:00am (Highly Unlikely)
