the thing thats made me a lil grump is the fact i have yo refit my mudflaps and secure my rear bumper curtsy of the mot place yesterday trapping the flaps and ripping them off they were a little low though so might be my bad a little

3 bolts were gone one was snapped, aa man said it common that people trying to nick wheels will loosen 3 bolts then realise 4th is a locker and leave it, reckons he see it all the time, that be strange though they are only standard sporting wheels and the ones sitting loose in my garden are still there. i am going to take my torque wrench to be calibrated i think it may be over tightening, because the threads are now knackered in the hub

That more or less sums up my brava incident on the M27 the other month! two wheel bolts missing one snapped one very bent (plus other damage to sheared track rod end caliper etc), I'm wondering if the other damage was from the wheel wobbling round the hub from loosened wheel bolts which eventualy came out or sheared in the hub.

I know for a fact they were ok for the previous week as I checked them and all steering / supsession parts every other day, having only just finsihed rebuilding the front end

this type of scumbag will cause a massive accident if they carry on doing this.
