Why is it that a couple of days ago i checked insurance for a car and it was £715 and now tonight its gone up to over £800! wtf!? Is it cheaper to do it online or just ring them up and ask for a quote?
right, i have three years no claims, i had five but crashed the cinqy in march and lost two of the five they GAVE ME!!.
Use confused.com, get your quote, not sure of your trade, but construction labourer or teacher work well, i do construction so ok there LOL, but a litte white lie never hurts.
go to BROKERKING, they insure via A & A, my insurance is via Aviva. bloody excellent. paid up within a week of smash.
explain to them the prices are to high and you need help. they gave me 5 years no claims to help me!!! tell them you've heard of this happening before. saved me £100's on my 4x4 insurance. put your mum or partner on the insurance, THIS HELPS BIG TIME. YOUR'RE LESS LIKELY TO DRIVE LIKE A
TW@T WITH YOUR MUM / MRS IN CAR.
(not saying you do, thats there way of thinking) always go fully comp, believe it or not its cheaper than firetheft/third party only.
lastly the prices change VERY FREQUENTLY, as you say 700+ last week 800 this week. could be a grand or 500 next week. way it goes mate. insurance is like roulette, you spin and win, or lose big time. hope that helps. but use confused.com and try the different quotes with / without mum/wife on policy. does make a difference.
