only recently. i aint been home a while so few days max. this is the first time ive experianced it... i just thought it was my PC cos its done it before...but mum says its the same on her laptop

I'm getting pissed off with getting things muddled up.

I keep calling red - black, I'm getting my daughter/wife's name muddled up, and I'm generally struggling with pretty basic spelling & maths at work. All since the assault.

People like that, I would not care if they died in front of me. Honestly. I just would not care. How can people do such a thing? (read your thread)

Yes,

What happens is when you plug it into a new location is has to "learn" the characteristics of your phone line to get the best possible speed based on the SNR (signal to noise ratio) and other stats it records.

The routers ISP's supply tend to be quite aggressive and try for the best speed possible (so they can boast about their average sync speeds on sites like speedtest.net).

It "should" settle down after 48hrs. Like I said a firmware update may help. If not i'm affraid it's time to contact your ISP helpdesk.

Also check to make sure your ADSL microfilters are installed correctly (the little white box that connects to BT's face plate).

my dad did mention hes made it so its off before 4am and 6am.

so its like an ECU having to relearn everything after the battery has been disconnected?
