I'm grumpy because I went out walking, got halfway up the mountain, saw the snow approaching and had to go back down. Still, I was luckier than the people at the top - when I was at the bottom they were only about a third of the way down from the top, hope they made it back OK I will try again next weekend if it's fine

Place Fell, at Patterdale. I made it up to the ridge and saw snow coming from Helvellyn and turned around
