Was next in line for one of the brand new lorries only to find out that one of the drivers in the queue after me went in the office moaning about how his truck keeps breaking down (because he doesn't look after it) and blagged the new truck sat in yard tonight....

Did my service on my car a week ago. Checked oil today to find it nearly empty. :/ check underneath to find sump covered in oil. With no real funds till next week my only choice is to top up with what oil I have and restrict driving till payday :/

That's one hell of a leak? Wheres that comming from?

Tell me about it! I think its either oil filter as the bottom of that is oiley, or the the gasket around my sump. Mechanic mate (owns a garage) said I can have alook on the ramp but as I can't afford parts till I get paid and he has an Alfa jtd stuck there waiting for a flywheel, can't do jack ATM :/ almost gave in to the 'I wouldn't care if I stuffed it' train of thought

What the hell did you hit?

That rear axle is buckled worse then when i hit a kerb

the front is a mess - you run into back of somebody?

Ziggy

No backend slipped out as it has slipped on wet mud or something and wheel has buckled hit crash barrier in Lane 2 and then it has spun me across into Lane 1 and smashed into a second crash barrier (front end damage)! Absolutely gutted:(

I'm always interested to know what tyres are fitted when things like this happen?

Maxis on back mid range and cooper s6 on the front another mid range tyre brand new!
the drifters like Maxxis and they like going sideways :chin:

new tyres were on the front and older ones on the rear? a lot of people on here say it should be the other way around

I'm not having a go btw, just the more info we have could help the next person.

Yes i agree :)

But also if you have budget fronts and part worn premium rears, i'd keep the premium rears on the rear

Like me - i have 2 Hi-fly budgets on front (nasty ****e) And yokohoma's on the rear which are a known decent brand, the front is what i have trouble with.....
