My old van goes tomorrow, he's been a good friend and companion
Never let me down ever,
Seen a lot together in 4 years and 38000 miles, really sad.
Worst thing is it is totally flawless, hand washed every time i washed the Bravo.
So if anyone is looking for a Caddy keep your eye open at auction for DX09NYS, not a mark on it, it has new brakes, exhaust, wind deflectors with possibly a K&N filter if i decide to leave it in.

Fiat service dealers

Why is such a good car as the GP spoilt by having such a c*** network behind it.

Booked my GP in for its first year service. Because of the low mileage I was offered a low mileage service, saving around £90.
I asked if it was possible to have it done on the four post ramp and to watch. Yes said the receptionist.

So far so good

Turned up today and the "Fiat trained technician" took the car in and immediately put it over a two poster. Then he goes round checking out the doors and tailgate and lets the tailgate hit the overhead exhaust emission pipe. Thankfully I'm watching and clearly hear the metallic clunk as the two met:bang:

The t*** carries on as if nothing happens.

Then he starts to put the ramp legs under the body and at that point I ask him if he's seen the job card as it clearly stated how I wanted the thing done. All I got told was no one was to tell him his job What like damaging the car- brilliant - you mouth breathing slime. :tosser::tosser: Perhaps someone should tell you how to look after customer's property.

Anyway the Service manager told me it couldn't be done on the 4 poster and his staff were wrong to tell me different.

So I left, having been promised the tailgate will be fixed.

Just another example of why I never leave sight of any of my cars in a garage. If I hadn't been watching I'm sure they would have denied it.:tosser:

Bought the parts from elsewhere and serviced it myself.

Took 3 days to clear my van and restock new one, apparently it can be done in half a day, so im only getting half a day toil, so yeah 3 rest days gone


Also Vag is forcing me to drive a certain way
When i reverse, it mutes my radio (so no more music flat out whilst reversing)
It tells me what gear im in and when to change up or down
If i try to press the brakes the same time as loading the turbo for coming out a corner it kills my throttle
I have no option but to drive with side lights on, even with lights off they stay on brighter,
Why cant VAG just leave me alone
At least VAG kindly gave me a turbo this time :shrug:

Spent the last 3 months trying to buy a house. All the searches and enquiries are done & I am ready to exchange contracts.

Got a phone call today to say the seller wants more money or he'll walk away & put the house back on the market.
