What's made you grumpy today?

Put a whacking great dent into the side of my old run around in supermarket carpark, I dont know how I missed a bright lumenous orange pole right next the drivers door:bang:
I wouldn't mind but now the roof is the only thing that isn't dented...

Someone trying to let property in my name (maybe).

Hi Daniel,

Just a quick email to let you know that I am still waiting for your employment reference. Once this is received then all the references are done and we are ready to book the check in.

Please if you can try and chase this for me and get it returned asap.

Regards

Cengiz K.....

Hi Daniel,

Sorry it’s about the property your due to move in to in Elgar Lodge with Ms Salazar. Im emailing you from Andrew Reeves Estate agents.

I'd never heard of Elgar Lodge, Ms Salazar, Andrew Reeves or yourself before the first email you sent to me.

Where did you get my name and email from, and what other details did they give to you?

Silence as of an hour ago.

Cengiz has a LinkedIn page, Andrew Reeves has a website, Googling for "andrew reeves elgar lodge" brings up properties to rent on various sites.

I'm not being too paranoid by wanting to go and report this to the police? It turns out the local is an emergency/relay station so I'd be leaving it until tomorrow now anyway. Asking for an employment reference seems odd for a phishing email.

I'd only given this email address to T-Mobile, my work and a bunch of companies I emailed about student placements.

Still needing an employment reference probably means nothing has gone through yet (credit agreements, etc).

Kinda funny if someone is trying to steal my identity and used my real email address, idiots.

[edit] oh, and every third one in this bag of pistachios is completely closed up
But mainly the identity fraud thing.

find out if Ms Salazar is fit, might be worth moving in,

So as we all know, i have two jobs. 3 do their rotas 6+ weeks in advance, JDW do theirs... 3 days in advance. So we came to the arrangement that id tell them the days i could work and theyd place me in the rota for them.

Until now!
The pub manager of JDW *hates* employees who have a second job, despite them trying their best to fit both jobs in well. Shes taken a disliking towards me ever since she learned of this.

I may have mentioned that i was to get a disciplinary a few days ago for being ill 9 times in a year. She was happy about this, but became disgruntled when she realized she couldnt go ahead as she didnt have the relevant paperwork.
She then made me write the names of 100 customers, their favourite drink, and a fun fact about them. Then told me i had to do all my training modules overnight which is impossible.

I had in the request book that i couldnt work monday and tuesday. Every other day was fine though. And what days has shr rotad me in for? Monday and Tuesday. She knows she can sack me if i take another day off and she knows im still on probation at 3 so cant afford to ring in sick.

What a f*%king ar$ehole.

my grumpy moment was going shopping, the shopping itself was fine, walked back to my car only to discover sum retard in a brand spanking new TT had parked so close to my drivers side that i had to get in through the passenger door  im 5ft 10 and weigh 12 stone so i aint a fat git, anyway, got my own back by smacking my drivers door into their rear quarter panel, left a nice lil scratch and ding :) Childish i know, but if they cant park properly when they have lines to guide them, then tough sh*t!

I hope someone does that to you one day. Just because you had to climb though the other side doesn't mean you can damage someone elses car. Hopefully someone saw you or it was caught on CCTV.

Kier; someone has done this to me, few years ago though, was parked parked round my girlfiends house when my car alarm went off, went outside to check it and someone had booted in my rear quarter panel, nice big foot print.

I know what i did was childish but i really dont care, the owner of the TT clearly didnt care that he parked too close to my car, if he/she cant be thought full of the people parked around him/her then why should i give a crap about them.

I know people will think im a knob and others will say fair play, i can live with either.

Ever thought that maybe someone else parked crap, meaning they had to too?

I don't think your a knob...I would get banned for saying what I really thought of people like you ;).

i always make sure that theres an even gap either side of my car when i park, there was a car next to me when i parked there so why the TT driver couldnt park properly is beyond me, maybe they should have bought a smart car instead ;)

You can say what you want, its a free country, you dont know me so what does it matter.

...you dont know me...

people using the phrase 'you dont know me'

it just screams of how much of a self centred phallice they actually are

if you post on the internet, people dont have to know you to decide ur the biggest 'richard' this side of Idiotsville.

STFU or GTFO!! i take it you've notified your insurance company and the police that you were involved in an incident concerning your motor vehicle and have duely given them the details of the damaged TT... No?! spineless little drains on society and oxygen theives like your idiotic self are the reason i now have to work a further 14 days of 12 hour shifts to get my stilo back into the condition that it was when i bought it, i cant afford fully comp, because hit and runners like you dont own up to what they have done, and the premiums go up for the rest of us.

if anyone wants to know why this country is going to the dogs ask this prize :tosser:

oh and by the way 'dervdaz' if you dont like my post i suggest you grow a pair and take it like a man... at least if i ruin someones day, i own upto it!

You vile little pikey turd.

hopefully he finds you and knocks seven shades out of you.

ive given up on DDR2

the difference in price over DDR3 makes it more practical to replace whatever it goes in.

It's only with it being SODIMMs (laptop memory). An extra 4GB DDR2 for the main box wasn't too bad. Dell carried this model on with a different motherboard that took DDR3 so I could go with that but it'd cost as much as the DDR2 ram. I could keep one 2GB module and get one 4GB and settle on 6GB, but then I'd lose dual-channel.

I rarely get low memory warnings, it's already got 4GB, I just wanted a bit more breathing room since I had an SSD and turned off virtual memory.

Otherwise this laptop is fine for now, 2.4GHz Core2 (what kind of speed difference to a 2.4 i3?), 1080p screen, still stable - no problems with solder joints under the CPU/GPU, keyboard still works, casing is fine. I don't know how some people manage to destroy a laptop within 24 months. Going to stick with it until graduation, at least, unless it gives up on me.

My grump, reading though some of these posts about people willingly causing damage to someone else's car because "they parked close" to their car...

Being at the other side of this (having parked close to another) and having my car damaged i am strongly against anyone who thinks it's justified to go out of their way to cause damage to someone else's property.

In my case, parking was as tight as it gets, someone having a party so no spaces, except 1 (i saw it as a space, 1-2 inches front and rear of my car once parked. No damage done to anyone's car). Next morning housemate comes down, sees that i've parked close to his car, he then goes out and hit/s my boot putting a large dent in it. I saw the whole thing. - I've since left before i got a chance to do something stupid...
