Right so 13 days ago my car got taken away to get whatever the charging problem was fixed and to have a service and mot. When it got there he managed to get it started because apparently one of the terminals wasnt connected properly and it wasnt charging the properly. After it was running for about 25 minutes it decided to over heat like a good un and pour steam out from under the bonnet. He then realised that there was no water getting round the engine so i told him to do the thermostat and cam belt including water pump because that needed doing anyway. Then i rang him about 4 days later to see if he had done anything with my car only to be told that hes not started work on it yet. Leaving it a few more days i went to his garage to find out what was happening with my car and he told me "ive had a couple of other jobs go wrong so im sending it off to this other guy for him to do it." Okay fair enough, if you dont have time at least hes sorting someone else out to get it done. So the guys got it yesterday and then the original garage go called by him saying that the fan wasnt working on the radiator unless done manually and even then, the windows opened and the rear wiper starting going so now hes there chasing a short in the wiring that happened when my car has had a serious crash at some point that i didnt even know about when i bought it. If he charges me to keep it over night i might just tell him to keep the f'ing car because its already gonna cost me wayy too much than it was originally. So now im having to get a taxi to work and get my girlfriend to come pick me up even though shes been at college all day and will probably want to sleep tonight. /rant.

thats a HUGE string of bad luck there.. hope it gets sorted soon.. shame your fiat is living up to the fix it again tomorrow stereotype
i know ive only had it a year and had so much trouble with it. Wish id bought a different one tbh lol. Im actually thinking about getting another car and just flogging this one on because i really am sick of it at the moment. But i bet as soon as i drive it again il just wanna keep it.

i need people to look in local papers for me for a private owned one. was loads for sale a few months back for under 3k then one bloke puts his up for 5 an everyone thinks they will get 5 for theirs, none are selling but no one will come down to what they should really be
