I doubt you'd see flat spots but might feel them if you jack the wheel off the ground and spin it by hand with your palm you might feel the odd bump.

My grump, my PC is toast  so now using a much newer but totally pants Celeron 2.5 ghz with 512mb RAM   :bang:

That's a grump?!?!?!?!? HELLO!

That's an excuse to jump on ebuyer and pick up an i7-950 rig with 6gb of ram, an SSD and a stupidly quick graphics card.

My grump? Waiting for stuff, have to wait till tomorrow to see if I've got a permanent job for the county, have to wait 3 or 4 weeks for Windows Phone 7 to come out and I've got to wait till later this year/early next year for Intel to release new SSD's and then next year as well for them to launch Sandy Bridge. I don't want to wait! I want my technology NOW!!!!

Too skint for new PC so making do with what I've got, it's not actually as bad as I imagined it'd be, in fact suprisingly alright

i guess they will wear down to round again eventually

Not sure that'll happen as the flat spots will still wear down, I think they might be MOT failures but not 100% on that.

Yeah it's amazing what old PC's can do with a clean install of Windows.

I'd still go for the Core i7 machine though ;):p I was planning to get one this month but I heard about Sandy Bridge and my PC's not really that bad so I'll wait till next year and reap the rewards :)

Today was going great untill about... 12:15, I went to Tescos on my lunch break and my car decided to over heat... looked for mayo... Biggest relief of my life when there weren't any :)

Called my dad out... eventually after having many arguments with the people at college about why I couldn't use their phone...

Hour later after being tortured thinking the worst possible... He told me the thermostat had gone.

Kinda happy :) Hahaa. It could have been worse...

Now the downside... I had to try and get home (n)
14 mile trip. 8 Stops. took about 20 minutes for it to cool down each time.

Longest drive back from college ever! About 4 miles from my house, my brother phoned my mum and said my dog had broken its leg... Made the day even bloody worse

I've currently installed SBS 2008 on a Celeron to use as a test box for an upcoming sharepoint install/project. To say its frigging slow is a bloody understatement its as if its drawing the windows on the screen with a hammer and chisel .

I hate Celeron's with a passion. Always pisses me off to see celeron's being bought at work because all it means is that they'll be replacing that PC earlier than they need to.

Totally shattered after yesterdays travelling to Stevenage for a meeting and back. Ended up as a 14hr day. Least I get travel expenses and overtime for it though....

Got into work this morning (again having to park in the non-secure, paying car-park), to find that the people on my desk carousel (of which there were only about 4) have been moved off somewhere else, so again I'm sat on a 8 seat desk, all on my own  I hate being the only one that does my job somewhere - be nice to be in a team, least I'd have some fecking company then :(

And one of my new piercings is doing my fooking head in... has got to that itchy stage, but I can't sort it cos I can't get round the back of the bar where the itch is, and every time I poke at it it kills!! Really looking forwards to it healing up...

Could do without any more grumps today... :(
