I just want a quick lowdown on whats new. Last time i looked Danny Byrd and Brooks Bro's (i know that i spelt them wrong) were doing quite well. I just havnt heard much jump up or liquid now days. Did songs like 3rd° Gurns and Machete go out of fashon?

Well im doing all right. I have 10 GCSE's, 1 1/2 A levels, A proper BTEC National, a HND and i havnt done a days revision in my life.

High Contrast, Sub Focus, Netsky and Pendulum are all pretty popular just now.

But thats Pop music, what happened to real D&B. I even noticed that Skibba has bought out a new pop song and its closer to Dub Step than D&B.
There you go thats my Grump. D&B Has been taken over by commercial pop $hite

So because it's popular it automatically becomes crap? That point of view makes me grumpy, as soon as a band/group does something that just happens to get them noticed they get branded sell-outs and shunned by former fans.

You're a bright lad though, not everyone else has your level of intelligence and some people have to work at it to achieve their qualifications. Admittedly I never did any either, right up until my professional exams where it was the rest of my life at stake and an 80% score needed to pass. I read the BNF cover to cover a few times for that one (kinda like reading a dictionary)

well yeah you got 10 GCSEs fair enough, cant comment much further than that as in process of A levels,

but during GCSEs i could of got 10 without revising and got 10 Bs and Cs, but did revise and reeped the rewards of results which were mixed As and Bs.

I meant the music they produce is aimed at the masses rather than a Hardcore niche And i dont think its as good as it can be. Same is happening with all music that i liked now days. Its a sad day that Good DJs/Producers have to make music that appeals to the popular markets rather than what they actually want to do. This is the sole reason why top producers and DJ's are leaving Hardcore and D&B in favor of things like Hard Trance and Techno.
