I was thinking, 2 x 2 hour lessons (£120)
Theory (£40)
Practical 1 (£45?)
Practical 2 (£70?)

Total £275.

Can it be done? What are your experiences? Not sure about when to use lifesavers, but that's about it.

Don't know the rules in Uganda
Anyway Have you got a valid CBT? That could cost you £120 before you start and only lasts 2 years.
Just got mine renews because I've taken my 1st phase twice now. I can't get past the 32mph on the bend for an emergency stop.
First lesson and two tests cost £300 and £15 per test.

I'm running around on a Honda 125cc but the test centre is 50 miles away so I had hoped to to Direct Access, only not used to such distances I'm knackered before I start!

Weather has held me up too- the snow prevented re-takes in the winter or the test center has cancelled due to oil on the track

I've been looking into it recently, found a company that was recommended by a few people, £700, which includes.

CBT course (1 day)
1½ Days Module 1 training + Module 1 test fee
3 Days Module 2 training + Module 2 test fee
Bike hire - 125cc & 500cc
Equipment & clothing hire
Comprehensive insurance
Fuel

Plus £40ish for the theory part.
