General What tyres?

Hi, I need to change the front tyres on my 20V Weekend. Has anyone tried anything other than the standard Michelin Pilots? Any recommendations would be helpful.

I have Goodyear Eagle Ventura's on all 4 of mine. Soft compound and stick like glue in all weathers.

I am about to swap the front and rear tyres after 7000 fun miles as the fronts are starting to show wear. Still loads of tread left though.
