amys turbo will be on the road soon so im trying to decide what to do with her mk1 uno 45.
160100 miles and still runs fine with original engine
it has 10 months mot,
turbo body kit,
mk2 turbo interior,
15" alloys,
lowered,
smoked indicators,
plus other bits, the body is in very good condition but the doors are rough, is it worth selling as a whole or should i strip it and sell the parts? surely worth more in parts?

was thinking that but the parts would fetch over that surely? i dont mind taking it to pieces, how much do you think the mk1 sideskirts are worth?

The sideskirts and arches are worth absolutely nothing. I'll take them off your hands for free :p

Sadly your Uno will probably be worth more broken for parts than selling it on its own. :(

However, an un-rusty mk1 shell is now getting quite sought after by turbo owners looking to re-shell. You could also try the Turbocollective group on MSN, plus the one and only GreedyBay ;)

EDIT: Have you any pics so we can see what it looks like?

Post some pics. Having said that I guess it makes sense to sell parts (I might be interested in some :p)

Put it up on the classified and ebay, I reckon you'll get a few quid for a cheap to run turbo look alike, possibly more than you'd imagine. Looks a nice car.

I don't entirely agree with breaking good useable cars for the sake of making a couple of quid extra and you've also got to consider the extra work involved in stripping it and only a few choice bits will make any decent money and possibly not as much as selling as a whole.

I bet there is rotton mk1 somewhere in the country that needs re-shelling, that is perfect for the job and looks in very good condition

Sell it as a whole car tho but make sure to describe that it can become a good turbo with plenty of time and a donor car
