what to do next with my ice

at the moment i have 2 12" subs in my boot in a carpeted box from ebay for £7! but the subs need replacing they do work but ripped and torn with a pioneer gm-1000 running the. as well are pair of sony xplod 6x9s and running the whole lot is a cheapie panasonic cd player that was £100. i have no money but is there anyway of improving it for no money and could the subs be repaired ans am thinking of reversing the subs cos they wont look damaged. but i will get bout £40 soon if needed.

Subs cant just be repaired like that. They probably sound quite bad dont they? If they do your better off just getting some really cheap SPLX (i thought id never say that) Subs until you get some money to get some proper 1's. Some decent wiring from richer sounds (cheaper than halfrauds...)will also work wonders for little money.

And oh yeah, turn them round if u do get some SPLX, then ur mates dont know what they are.

they do sound bad and where do i get splx subs from cos i dont have any credit cards so i cant buy them from all places luckily the person on ebay accepted money on pick up. do sumwhere lik halfords sell em but there probz b expensive

do you know have a car audio centre/shop near where you live, there are a few nr me and they do great deals, you may even be able to get a discount in the new year

They are the cheapest subs you can probably get and they sell them in motorworld. you can see them on www.kroozin.co.uk and the 12" ones are £24.99.

i looked and they do look a little **** dont they but for £25 there alrite, but ideally need red cos all my other ice is red.

They're crap. Turn them round anyway and you wont know the difference. Worth the money until you can get something decent.

do u recommend taking the rear seats out and sticking some wood over the lot with sum carpet cos surely that wld b cheap so then it looks ok as well? cheers for ur help so far.

I know on cinqs that taking the rear seats out mucks up the handling so youd be better off asking it in the uno part of the forum. Plus it causes problems for the MOT... Hope this helps. Dan

the car will have disentigrated by the time you drive it, i would sell it and by a push bike instead
